So my little sister Julie is GETTING MARRIED!! To make sure she knows how much time is left before she becomes Mrs. Kinney, I made her a paper chain Time Line! She gets to take off one chain a day. I put every Month in a different color so its easy to see :)
I set it up when she was in Alabama visting her man and when she came home she was shock and so happy when she called me!! (holla for the best MOH ever!!)
This is such an exciting time and I'm so happy that I'm we live in the same area!! Wedding Dress shopping this weekend!!!!

Students are my Favorite
My job allows me to act like a child. Which is awesome. Teaching 6th and 7th grade is great for this, because they have NO idea how old adults are. Yesterday I had a kid from last year come up and say
"MS. FELDMAN!! I know how old you are!!!"
Me- "Awesome."
Kid: "Your 28 and Mrs. Rhody is 27!!"
Me- "Cool."
Very close student, but I'm 25 and Mrs. Rhody is 28. Very close.
Today we had another class come in and explain the Mock Elections we will be having on Monday, the Obama representative was talking and said
"I have a plan to get the troops out in 2 years and create more jobs..."
One of mine says "YAAAA... He said that 4 years ago and it didn't happen!"
My little cookies are so smart.
OTHER FUNNIES:::
Logan: "We had to pick team names in Health, we're The Ms. Feldmans!!!!"
******
Pete: "I could try out for cheerleader! I can wear a skirt!"
Ryan:"I could for sure! I have the legs for it!!"
******
More to come later. These kids are great.

Wow its been over year!!
Well it's been over a year since I posted last. Which is very sad, because my life has been wonderful and crazy, not unpostable. I am teaching at the same Jr. High I went to, I'm the cheer sponsor and love it. I have had a couple more friends get married and have gone on some aweseome trips. I now life downtown with my great friend Alex, who is getting married in August!! WHOOOP! I couldn't been more excited for her. I love Robert and couldn't pick out a better man for her. Tara and Tina have gotten married too.
School is my favorite.
Tayln: Ms. Feldman I'm a dolphin!!
Michelle: Ms. Feldman why aren't you married!? Have you tried Match.com?!
Taylor: Ms. Feldman, can we stay in your class all day like in 5th grade?
Lucciono: I wish I had an evil twin
Jasmin: Get your butte out of my face!!
Carlos: I can't take off my shoes in Ms. Feldman's class! We just came from football!
Brandon: Ms. Feldman, is this right?!

I need to post some pictures of all the weddings..
I should be posting pictures of the 7 weddings I went to this summer, but I don't have the time! So here is my favorite one from the wedding of Shannon Smith and Tyler Hitt. This wedding was awesome for a few reasons, one of course because these two belonged to the group of friends I ran around with in college, but also because they are just amazing together. This was one of my favorite weddings! They are moving to OK city (sad) but Tyler's sister and Shannon's family live in my area! So yay!!
I have been busy teaching 5th grade. My kids are crazy!! But that makes it fun and always interesting. On Friday one of my girls was upset at another little girl and was telling me she really wanted to hit someone, or something. I told her to hit my hand, and I held it up for her. Two of my boys put their hands on top of mine saying "No Ms. Feldman, she'll hurt you!! " They were very scared for me! AW!! They are the greatest!! Okay, One more picture from another awesome wedding! This is Andrew (in the Pink) He was Ryan's roommate at UT for a year. He married the beautiful Tatum. I had never met her before and told him "Andrew, she's BEAUTIFUL!!" He told me "Hee hee, I tricked her!" Haha, wonderfully fun wedding!

The next wedding was the Robinsons... But I havent uploaded those pictures yet.. :( More to come later on that one.

Best Nanny Ever.
Okay, so Im not the best Nanny ever, but I will be after this summer. Then I will write a book on how others can do the same thing. But so far, this is what I got to make being a Nanny easy.
1. Penny Trivia
I ask each kid a question in the car, if they get the answer correct, I give them a check mark. Which is worth a Penny. As the questions go on I as them if they have 39 questions correct; how many nickels, dimes, or quarters do they each have. I know this sounds silly but the kids I've tried it with have loved it, then I'll take them to McDs or wherever they want, but they can only use how much "money" they've earned.
2. GET OUT OF THE HOUSE!!
I plan an outting at least once a week; movie, mall, lunch with one of my friends that they know, museum, baseball game, beach if its close, bluebell icecream factory, or a city owned park. They love it and it gives you something to look forward to.
But everyday they need to get off the couch and ride bikes, go swimming, for a walk, or go to a playground! Kids might think they want to sit and watch Disney Channel, but they dont and it will drive you crazy!!
3. Show them something NEW
Today I showed my girls a game on the web that I was allowed to play in High School because of the educational value. They love games, but this one, you learn!
www.addictinggames.com/50states.html
I think its fun and it helps the kids LEARN a bit while on their summer vacation!

Paul and Jenni are getting MARRIED!!
Well, I was right! My family is growing!! My big brother asked his girlfriend Jenni to marry him!
Last Thursday Paul took her out to a nice meal because she is going out of town this week. They went out to a nice dinner when he went out of town on business, so it seemed like a normal thing. Well, they went to Perry's and Paul called ahead and had rose petals put on the table. (AWW!) She asked why and he just said "I dont know" Then he asked if she wanted to order a bottle of wine. She said "We never get wine..?" He ordered it anyway and thought he better do this quick! Jenni said later that he just kept saying "I love you" over and over, and she was waiting for a "but.." but than he got down on one knee!!! And asked her to marry him!!!
I am so happy that Paul and Jenni are a perfect match! I love Jenni and am so happy that I get a sister that lives in Houston!!! Happy Happy Day!

Funny Stories
Here are some funny things that happened while subbing this year:
Pre-K::: There was a little boy who came to school in his Cowboy boots, Jeans, a HUGE belt buckle and a shirt that said Home Grown Texas Kid. When I told him I liked his shirt, he said (with the most excited eyes I've ever seen) "What does it say!?"
Pre-K::: I was working with a Pre-K teacher who was 7 months pregnant and we were talking about how She could never teach 7th grade and I could never do Pre-K. Just then a little four year old came up and said "I wanna give your baby a hug!" Than put his face next to her tummy and rubbed it with his hand! My heart melted
7th Grade::: I had some kids in a computer lab doing reseach for a project. I was walking up and down the rows and I saw a tab that was closed that said Justin Bieber Song... I said "Close that!" she tried to tell me that she was looking up some old guy and thats where google took her. She tried to prove her point by clicking the back botton, which showed me pictures of Justin, than she did it again which showed me that she had googled "Justin bieber and his girlfriend". Ya.. she didnt have much to say after that!
1st Grade::: Little girl comes up to be BALLING "Sweetheart, whats wrong?" "He.. stole... my ... rock!" I'm thinking, are you kidding!? "Well why does he have it?" "We... traded". Oh goodness me..
7th grade::: 7th grade girl: "Ms. Feldman!!! THIS IS TOO HARD!!!" 7th grade boy: "thats what she said" Me: "Write up!"
1st Grade::: I was having trouble finding out what I was suppose to do with the airliner and the kids started all trying to tell me what to do at once. Then one kid starts yelling "SHE'S NOT A ROBOT! SHE ISNT OUR TEACHER! DONT JUDGE HER!!" thanks kid! Your right! I'm not a robot!
12th Grade:: Boy "Hey Miss!"
Me: "Yes?"
Boy: "What are you doing this Saturday?"
Me: "I dont know.. "
Boy: "Wanna go to prom with me?!"
Me: "No"
4th Grade::: I was telling the class a little bit about myself, and I told them I went to Texas A&M. Of course one kid puts his horns in the air and says "I love UT!" I told him, "I love alot of people that went to UT! So I love it too!" He tells me "Oh, I know that they are both great schools and I would be happy to go to both, I just like UT a bit more!" I told him to keep that outlook!
9th Grade::: There is a class of girls in one of the schools that is awful to their teacher, when I asked them why they were mean to him and not me they said "Cause you got that look! Like, you mean business! We know that you cool, but like, we aint gonna mess with you" good to know!
8th Grade::: Back to a post from April, I started subbing in that teachers class and I had given them their worksheet and after they were done, I was going over it. One kid rised his hand "What are you doing?" I told him that I wanted to make sure they all understood the section. He said "You've taught us more than our teacher has all year" Well thanks!

Exciting Week!
My baby brother, James is graduating from High School this Saturday! I can't believe he has gotten so big! My little sister, Julie, is gone this week, but she'll be back on Friday! Which is a great thing because I'm pretty sure our family is going to grow!!! No babies.. :) I'm keeping my secrets! This week also holds my last day of SUBBING EVER!!! (i hope). But that is very exciting!! I start my summer job as a nanny on Friday! (Klein stays in school till Thursday and Tomball gets out today! Lucky Me!) Friday is also very important because it is Ryan and I's 4 year anniversary! 4 years!!! That's nuts! I love him so much and I'm so happy that I've been able to spend the last 4 years with him! No, we arent getting engaged too soon! This is why: you never hear people say "I wish I would have gotten married younger" they all say "I wish I would have waited" Well, we are young, 23! And I'm not in any rush! Now, some of my friends that are getting married, I'm very happy for because its the right thing for them! My favorite 2 are Ashley and Jake. They just need to be married! They are perfect for each other and they are going to make a beautiful married couple! They are tying the knot in 16 dayS! Its going to be a wonderful wedding! I'm so pumped!
GREAT LIFE!! (now if only I had a job for the Fall...)

Mad.Sad.Mad
I’m stressed out. I really REALLY want a job. The man I am subbing for all week has a job, but from what I can tell, he doesn’t care much. There is NOTHING on the walls in his room. The only way you know that there is a teacher using the room is because of the piles of papers on his desk. But nothing in the cabinets, on the walls, you don’t know if it’s a man or a woman, you cant tell what he or she teaches.. L its just really sad. I was teaching his class a little something about the Civil War, and one kid raised his hand and said “This is the most I’ve learned all year”. REALLY!? That’s sad because I’ve only been here for 20 minutes. And its April!! Anyways.. this is my sadness. I really want a job and students to teach and be apart of their lives and some people that have my dream job don’t give two shits.

Drive Me Crazy
yesterday I was subbing for a teacher who has a student teacher. This teacher i know, like, and respect. the student teacher she has I now know, like, but dont respect as a teacher.
#1 she kept telling the classes that i was a student teacher as well ::::::: b*tch, I'm graduated!! Stop saying that!
#2 she said that if they talked during their test, she would give them 10 points off, and if they talked again, they would get a zero. :::::::: They should be getting a zero the first time they talk! ITS A TEST!!!!!
#3 she had no control over the students ::::::: I had more control with my teacher stare. I was not impressed
#4 she kept saying"Welcome to Jr. High!!" ::::::::::: I know about Jr. High, I did my student teaching in a Jr. High too. I know. I get it. they are insane.
In all, it was the most stressful day of subbing. I could have done the class easier by myself!

Update
I promised to blog more and didnt. I'm sorry. But I'm on here alot now thanks to Ashley Zotyka soon to be MANCHACA!!! I'm so lucky to have friends like her and Jake. They are amazing F*R*I*E*N*D*S :)
I'm pumped to be in their wedding this summer. I also will be in Ashley Carey's wedding! Its going to be a white summer for me!
Sad note: Ashley Carey's house burned to the ground today! Please keep her and her family in your prayers. This is such a hard time for them.
Other news, I am subbing everyday in Tomball ISD, I really love Tomball and hope to get hired on there for next year! Today and tomorrow I'm at the high school, its my favorite! They don't care about sassying you! They just want to talk to one another, which is fine by me!

Summer Reading
I have been reading alot, and I love it. Here are some of them, the reasons why i like them and my rating of each one :)
1. My Sister's Keeper By Jodi Picoult
rating 10
I loved this one, it was full of controversy. A 13 year old girl wants the rights of her body, she was made to be a donor for her sister. I wont tell you anymore because you have most likely seen preview for the movie. I love that in this book, every chapter is told from someone else's point of veiw. I listened to it on a trip with a girlfriend and we would stop it every so often and just talk about what we would have done, and what we think about the characters. It was so so so amazing, but I warning you, I cried HARD the last few chapters, so bring tissues.
2. In Search of Eden By Linda Nichols
rating 10
This one was also amazing. A girl has a baby when she is 16 and her mom arranges for a closed adoption. After her mother dies the girl goes looking for the baby she never knew and finds more than she wanted. It was a little hard to get into because, like My Sister's Keeper, its told from different points of view, but unlike My Sister, your not sure how the characters fit together. But once they fit together, its amazing and again I cried the last few chapters, not as hard, but it was still an amazing ending to a great and wonderful book.
3. The Secret Life of Cee Cee Wilkes by Diane Chamberlain
rating 10
Another book that is wonderful. This one is full of controversy as well. Cee Cee is like anyother girl who falls hard for an older man and gets herself in to trouble. to keep herself save, she has to live a lie for the rest of her life. You are reading it knowing that she is doing the best thing, the best way she can but its hard and you really feel for this girl. The book is amazing and you really see a girl grow up.
4. Love in the Present Tense By Catherine Ryan Hyde
rating 6.5
This one was about a boy whos mother was on the run from the cops, so he gets dumped on the neighbor who raises the boy as hes own. Its a sweet book, how the relationship grows with the years for the two boys, but it wasnt amazing.
5. Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
rating 9
its amazing!!! they meet, they fall in love! its the most amazing love story.
6. New Moon by Stephenie Meyer
rating 8
I'm upset, he leaves.
7. Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer
rating 9
I'm happy, he is back and he loves her even more and there is happiness!
8. Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer
rating 10
There is love and babies and its a perfect fairytail ending.
Sorry, I didnt think that you needed to know everything I thought about the Twilight Series, you probably already have read them, and if you havent you need to. :)

School.Work.School&Work
So I was finished for the fall on April 28. Now I've been traveling and working as a sub for a month, but their school is ending so, so is my job. Now i'm starting summer school on Monday and am trying to find a job but i can only work during June. Ya.. No one wants to hire someone for a month. The job i think/hope/praying i get for June is at Grand Station. It has mini golf, bowling, laser tag, pretty much all the fun stuff :)
Good things about working there:
1. always going to be entertained (hopefully there will be people falling down)
2. my friend Garrett is working there too
3. 1/2 off food
4. I wont have to dress up
5. Hopefully I'll get to see more of my 5th graders!!
Story about 5th graders:
I worked at Mitchell Elementary in Bryan 2 days a week this Spring and fell in love with about 75 5th graders, when i went to apply at grand station, i saw one of my girls!! we did a running hug!! it was so much fun! she was one of my favorites, yes i have favorites. i would post some pictures so you can see how cute they all are, but thats highly illegal and i dont like jail.
the students i'm subbing for are about to come in, so i'll post again tomorrow when im on lunch break! :)

SCHOOL IS OUT FOR THE WINTER!
i cant be happier that im not worring about school. i finally have time to do nothing. and in this nothingness i have played with some pictures.. this one was my favorite, i've read 3 of the 4 twilight books in two days! (well, im in the middle of the 3rd one, but i started on saturday).
but this is why i waited so long to read them, because you cant just put down a good book.. and i wouldnt have read the things i realllllly needed to read..
i've also been subbing. which has good days and bad days. today was a good day. friday was a bad day.
i cant wait to go home on wednesday!!
on my to-do list when i get home:
1. go see my little (6'3) brother's basketball game
2. hang out with ryan
3. hang out with my girlfriends from high school
4. eat real food
5. see twilight with amy
6. not think about school :)
yay for breaks!
